Both your hair and scalp need to be PH balanced to stop itching scalp problems. I test each batch to make sure the balance is correct, as each ingredient you add can change the PH (acid/ alkaline balance). If you are loosing more hair than is normal (each strand lasts between 5 & 6 years) you are probably sensitive to sodium lauryl sulphate (and most of us are). I use ammonium lauryl sulphate in some of my products, this is a safe and mild sulphate that has bigger molecules so it cannot absorb into the body. As for S.L.S its molecules are small and are easily absorbed. We also have a lot of products completely sulphate free, they are a little bit more expensive as sulphate free can be a bit dryer therefore I need to add more moisturisers to the mix. All our hair products are as organic as we can get, gentle and natural and are made with love in a wide variety of flavours. Just ask if you need something added or taken away, or would like us to use different essential oils.
